Designed and built by Dane Thompson of the Burndown YouTube channel, this fan mount kit allows you to use the PWM fans from the 2018-2020 Buick Regal Sportback and the 2017-2019 Buick Lacrosse (part # 1581929) with an aluminum shroud and radiator of your choice. We think this fan is probably the best bang for the buck when it comes to OE PWM fans (other than junkyard fans). The fan mount is 15-1/2″ in diameter and the fan is approximately 14″. The mount is 2-7/8″ deep. We recommend using a shroud that is at least 1/2″ thick. These are PWM fans, so you will need a way to control it with a PWM- signal. GM moved to LIN controlled fans around 2020, so we recommend against buying other part numbers unless you’re positive that they’re PWM controlled. Included is the following:
- Fan mount
- Mounting hardware
- Tap for fan mounting holes
- Harness with 4′ power leads and 6′ PWM signal wire
